Acquisitions Groups

MOCA has three acquisitions groups, Acquisition and Collection Committee, Director’s Council, and Drawings and Photography Committee, for those individuals interested in taking an active role in fostering the growth of our world-renowned permanent collection.  Members make a lasting impact on MOCA’s legacy by raising funds for acquisitions while hearing from the director and curators about artists that are a priority for presentation and collection by the museum. In addition to acquisitions meetings, programs include studio and private collection visits, and annual acquisitions groups celebration with MOCA’s executive leadership. In order to be eligible to participate, all members also support MOCA as Leadership Circle donors.

For more information on the different ways to get involved through MOCA’s acquisitions groups, please contact Emily Cregg, Individual Giving Manager (213/621-1744 or
